Neeka is out of Annie’s first litter with “Buda” (Ch Shadrack’s Midnite Spirit CD DDWD). She is a littermate to our Scarlet . Neeka has done very well in the show ring earning her AKC championship in November, 2004. She is currently in training for obedience titles.

Newfoundland National Specialty 2008, Warwick, RI: Neeka placed 2nd in the Working Bitch class. Neeka also placed first in the Rally T Challenge. Owner-handled and trained by Lorna Fortune.
Neeka’s Title Work:
September 6, 2009: At the Genesee Newfoundland Dog club water test on Cayuga Lake, NY, Neeka: earned her Water Rescue Dog title (WRD). With the achievement of her Water Rescue Dog title, Neeka has now earned her Versatile Newfoundland dog (VN) title!
September 12 & 13, 2009: Neeka requalified and therefore earned her WRD1 title at the Bear Mountain water tests,

November, 9, 2008: Neeka earned her Draft Dog title on the second day of the NewPenDel Draft tests, at Lake Harmony, Pennsylvania, working with Lorna Fortune. It was a lovely site, next to two lakes, in a quiet park setting, in the Poconos Mountains. The judges were delighted with her enthusiasm and drive, and Neeka and Lorna made a perfect team on Sunday to earn this title.
July 13 – 15, 2007: Neeka earned her Rally Advanced title at the Vermont Scenic Cluster. Her qualifying daily scores were 94, 91, and 96 out of a possible 100 total points. Deductions based on Handler error……..not hers!
May 5, 2007: Neeka earned her third leg to complete her Rally Novice title at the Acton, Maine shows.
November 25, 2005: Neeka earned her third leg for her CD title in Novice B at Springfield, MA, after 6 show entries.
September 16, 2006: Neeka earned her junior water title of WD (Water Dog) She passed her test well under the time for each exercise at the 2-day Bear Mountain Newf Club water tests. Photo below.

October 19, 2003- Neeka was WB/BOW/BOS at the NCA supported entry in Troy, NY for her first 2 points!
November 14 , 2004- Neeka was WB/BOW/BOS at the Syracuse, NY, show.
November 19, 2004 – Neeka takes her first major for WB/BOW/BOS at Springfield, MA.
November 27, 2004, Neeka earns her AKC Championship!
August, 2007: Neeka earns her Canadian Championship.
